Frame selection options

All frames are made of organic glass or plywood. The basic principle of manufacture is that the product must consist of 3 layers. "Main" means a layer in which colors are selected, holes are cut out and the desired press is applied. "Transparent layers" means parts cut out of organic glass or plain glass, which hold coins from the back and front side so that they do not fall out. In some products, one "basic" layer is available and coins are placed in plastic capsules.

Since the product is made from 3 layers, they need to be combined, there are two options available for this.

  1. The product is a regular rectangular shape, it is to put all 3 layers in the frame
  2. More often used when the form is irregular (lithuanian map forms) when it is intended to be placed on the foot or simply does not want to be framed.

Basic layer only

It is only the main layer of 3 mm, where the holes for coins are cut and the press is applied. Next, you put on your self-made frame with glasses.

Vieno sluoksnio rėmelis monetoms

Basic + 1 transparent layer

The main layer and one transparent layer for cover, next you will need to hold the coins of your frame and back part (can also be opaque if there is no desire to see the other side of the coins).

Basic + 2 transparent layers

The main layer and 2 transparent layers (from the front and back). All you need is your frame. It is important that the frame has a deeper inlet, as 3 organic glasses will account for 9 mm.
